Ambika Dee (dancer 2002-2008) started her dance training with ballet at age five. She studied at Contra Costa Ballet in Walnut Creek, CA through her youth with summers at Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Theater Dance Workshop and Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. After dancing a season with the Sacramento Ballet. Ambika was awarded a Merit scholarship with Giordano Jazz Dance followed by a full scholarship to Alvin Aliey Dance Theater. She toured nationally and internationally with Spectrum Dance Theater for two seasons. Ambika is a founding member of Ahdanco and teaches yoga in the bay area where she lives with her husband and daughter.
